The printing process begins with a transcription from a master printer, with my favorites being Francisco de Goya and William Blake. later prints, I introduce Iranian characters influenced by Persian mythology and the Shahnameh, or Book of Kings. As I progress, these characters develop into unique personalities, slowly transforming into my alter egos and adding depth to the overarching narrative in my artwork.

Monoprinting entails creating individual paintings on a reusable surface. I revisit the residue or "ghost" of the previous work to shape a new world that flows into the next. Each piece is unique and one-of-a-kind.
